The course focuses on the core skills and knowledge of human resource management with a strong emphasis on the practical implementation of the subject matter. 

It also looks at the context of human resource management in business alongside sound knowledge of employment law, recruitment and selection and performance management.

        Certificate: September to June - 21 Saturdays
                         Fee: 2,400 (For September 2018 - subject to annual review)

        Diploma:    September to December - 8 Saturdays  
                         Fee: 1,100 (For September 2018 - subject to annual review)

An innovative assessment structure is in place which promotes both the understanding of academic principles and the application of skills. Assessment is by means of skills demonstration, projects, case assignments and exams.

Award & Progression

The programme assists graduates in gaining associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).  A separate membership fee must be paid directly to CIPD.
