ACCA Diploma in Accounting & Business

The Diploma in Accounting and Business Qualification is part of the ACCA Foundation in Accountancy (FIA) Suite of Awards. It is suitable for anyone looking to do an introductory qualification in accounting and finance.


No previous academic or accountancy qualifications are required to study for this qualification.


Employment Opportunities         

  • Basic bookkeeping

  • Trainee accountant in a commercial organisation or accounting practice

  • Accounts clerk in the public sector

 

Course Content

  • The Diploma in Accounting & Business Course consists of three papers/exams

                             Accountant in Business (FAB)
                             Management Accounting (FMA)
                             Financial Accounting (FFA)


 Students must also complete: A professionalism and ethics module called Foundations in Professionalism.

 

Course Duration

  • One year

          Semester one: September - December - two nights per week

          Semester two: January - March - two nights per week

Progression

  • After completing the Diploma in Accounting and Business you can transfer to the ACCA Professional course and start at F4.
