MANDATORY TRAINING COURSES IN GALWAY

Mandatory Training is a broad term given to training that is deemed necessary for individuals or organisations to carry out so that regulatory standards are maintained. Occasionally mandatory training is legally required by state bodies, for example, all factory and manufacturing workers in Ireland must receive Manual Handling training.  

Compliance Training includes Health and Safety Training such as First Aid Training, Food Hygiene Training as well as Manual Handling Training. 

Mandatory training in some industries is also referred to as Statutory Training.  

Statutory training is generally more sector-specific and generally refers to highly skilled areas, such as health care where certain training is a legal requirement of running a service.
