
In most organisations today, despite all the advances in technology, presentations are still a major channel for the communication of information. The successful delivery of information in a presentation can be a powerful way of influencing others. For the majority of people making a presentation is a daunting experience whether it is to an internal or external audience. The aim of this course is to turn a once unpleasant task into an enjoyable experience for both the presenter and the audience.
Description
Training Methodology:
- Participants receive formal instruction on the main aspects of presentation skills.
- Each participant makes a PRESENTATION to the other members of the group and the tutor. The presentation should be approximately 5 MINUTES DURATION.
- Participants receive constructive feedback and analysis from the Tutor.
- Particular care is taken to ensure that no participant is adversely affected by the experience.

At the end of the programme participants will be able to:
- Deliver presentations, which are clear, relevant, memorable and therefore highly persuasive.
- Prepare presentations, which meet the needs of a variety of audiences.
- Overcome the nervousness and tension associated with presentations.
- Hold audience attention by the use of proven presentation techniques.
- Analyse, select and structure material for presentations.
- Select, prepare and use appropriate visual aids in the most effective way.
- Have an excellent grasp of the elements of design and delivery of excellent presentations.
- Handle post presentation questions clearly and completely.
