COVID-19 Update
Western Management Centre’s main priority as an organisation is the health and wellbeing of our customers, clients, visitors, and staff. The safety measures in place throughout our facilities are part of our risk management regarding the COVID-19 virus.
In follow up to the Statement by An Taoiseach issued 12 March 2020, we are postponing all non-essential in-centre training. We are continuing to work with our clients on exciting new remote programs and essential training requirements.

09:00 AM - 03:30 PM (2 weeks) The purpose of this course is to equip learners with the knowledge, competence and skills necessary to deliver, assess and evaluate training programmes. Learners are provided with an opportunity to practice their training delivery skills and build their confidence as a trainer.

09:00 AM - 04:30 PM (1 day) On completion of this course participants will possess the knowledge, skills and techniques to carry out people moving and handling activities in a safe manner both for themselves and the person in accordance with good manual handling techniques. The course also trains participants in how to correctly use relevant people handling equipment.

10:00 AM - 04:30 PM (2 weeks) Thi course is aimed at those in organisations with responsibilities for training and development or planning to become involved in same, or for those who wish to develop their knowledge and competence in training design and delivery either independently or while working in an organisation.

08:00 AM - 04:00 PM (1 day) Safe Pass is a safety awareness training programme for construction workers. This one-day programme provides workers with a basic knowledge of health and safety to make them aware of the inherent dangers on work sites so that they will not be a risk to themselves or to their co-workers who work alongside them.

09:00 AM - 01:00 PM (4 hours) Current health and safety legislation requires that all employees engaged in manual handling activities must be given training in safe lifting techniques.
The term manual handling is used to describe a range of activities including lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling, carrying and moving an object.
The course provides participants with the knowledge and skill to conduct manual handling activities in a manner that will prevent injury.
All Trainers are QQI certified as required by the Health & Safety Authority (HSA).November 2025
