The programme provides a solid introduction to main concepts and theories of training design as well as opportunities to learn about training design methods and tools.
The programme is aimed at those in organisations with responsibilities for training staff in Safety and Health. It is for organisations with a need for safety inspectors, fire wardens, or similar.
The course is essential for anyone working in production and inventory management, operations, supply chain management, procurement, material management and purchasing.
It is also of benefits to participants outside these departments including process engineers, financial analysts, customer service personnel or anyone involved in the supply chain as it provides an overall understanding of how organisations function.
The programme is open to all learners however they should ideally be working or involved in a business-related activity though not necessarily in a management or supervisory role.
The programme is ideal for a learner who has recently been promoted into a management role, or aspires to be promoted, and now needs to complement and enhance their work experience with a relevant qualifications.
Now, more than ever, employers have to ensure that they are complying with their obligations under employment legislation. With so many changes taking place in the Irish workplace an understanding of the fundamental issues in employment law is now essential.
This 8 week course will provide participants with a thorough understanding of the crucial elements of Irish employment law including contracts of employment, equality, unfair dismissals, statutory leave, The WRC and workplace bullying and harassment.

The Diploma in Accounting and Business Qualification is part of both the ACCA Foundation in Accountancy (FIA) Suite of Awards and the ACCA Professional Qualification.
No previous academic or accountancy qualifications are required however some basic understanding of accounting principles and/or some experience in an accounting environment is desirable.
The course is equivalent to the first year of a degree.

This Cardiac First Response – Community Level course was developed by PHECC, the Pre- Hospital Emergency Care Council, as a national standard for anyone who has to deal with a heart attack, stroke or choking. A Cardiac First Responder can play a vital role in keeping a person alive until they receive expert medical assistance. Equally CPR and an AED are important links in the chain of survival.
The course aims to equip learners with the practical skills, knowledge and competencies to provide first aid and life-saving support in an accident situation.

The course is suitable for those with a responsibility for the installation, operation and maintenance of abrasive wheels in accordance with the relevant regulations.
The course is highly participative with emphasis on the
practical element of the training.
Note: This course is specific to tools associated with abrasive wheels and not the safe use of power tools in general.
